I think that Algernon will die because number one he is a mouse and they naturally don't live as long as some beings and number two based on the operation and the negative effects it could cause some serious damage to Algernon's health.
Yes I think that Algernon will die, because on the back of the book it says that Algernon deteriorates, and because the book is called 'Flowers' for ALgernon which could be like in flowers for a grave? I don’t know, it just seems like something that could happen in this story.
I think Algernon will die because he had a serious experimental surgery which probably lowered his life expectancy, also the back of the book said that Algernon will deteriorate. That is my view on this point.
