Do you think Charlie's mentality towards becoming smarter and situations in normal life is becoming more negative as he progressively becomes more intelligent?
Yes because as he is getting smarter he is drawing himself inwards away from contact with other people almost to the point of a mental meltdown. With him drawing himself away from people with his studying he causes problems in his relationships that he had with people before his operation so definately a negative impact on himself and most of the people around him.
Yes because as he realizes how some people used him and took advantage of him, he applies that to everything that anyone has ever done to or for him making him bitter at the whole world. I think that he also has a negative outlook because once he got smart he realized that the people that he thought were geniuses before are now way below his level because they have such a narrow field of knowledge and now he thinks that they are just phonies.
