Yes, I think that Charlie definitely should have told his dad who he was. It would be extremely difficult to do though. I think that it would have all been easier if Matt had recognized who Charlie was. Now that Charlie never told him, he will always have that in the back of his mind. Charlie will never really know what Matt's reaction to seeing his son would be. It would be harder for Charlie to tell Matt who he was, but I think that it would be better in the long run.
